Abby is a self taught photographer and food lover since forever. 

My creative journey started in theatre, but restaurant work was among the few constants in my life. The industry is rigid yet creative, and filled to the point of choking with everything sensory. I fell hard for the electric grit of it all, and my long time love affair with food turned into focus.

Working from the bar to the kitchen and everywhere in between, I finally landed behind the lens. With IRL experience in the craft, I am uniquely suited to tell the stories of food, drink and the humans who live their lives in it.  

If I'm not shooting food (or eating it) I’m likely climbing mountains off the grid somewhere.  Ever living life on the fringes, I find myself tugged by the magnetic forces of food, culture, landscape & time. 

Boiled down, my philosophy is: take risks, tell stories and lean hard into the power of play.
